In the NLT version of the Bible Jesus says, “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” (Revelation 3:20) How might this change your perception of meals?
Ephesians 3:16-17 says, “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.” If we see Communion as a time to invite Jesus into our presence and into our hearts, how might this awareness affect your understanding of this passage?
