Welcome

Welcome to Ansonia UMC!
If you’re looking for a church home, or just passing through, you are more than welcome to join us for worship on Sunday’s at 10:30 AM.  Our church family is warm, friendly, and welcoming. And best of all, you can come as you are: Jeans, shorts, or even dressed up if that’s what you like to do!

May God bless you every day!

  • February Friendship

“Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” (Romans 15:7)

If we want to double the attendance at our church the easiest way is for each of us to invite someone to come.

As we go through our “One Another” sermon series and live out our theme of ACT – Adapt, Connect, Trust – let’s make February our “Friendship February.”  Invite someone to join us in church so that we might accept and fellowship with one another.

  • February Newsletter

Our latest newsletter is available here.

  • Ugly Sweaters

December 15 was designated “Ugly Christmas Sweater Sunday.”  It was fun to have so many involved in the silliness.

  • Lunch and Learn

Are there parts of the Bible that challenge you?  Are there things that don’t make sense?  Have you ever had questions about faith, religion, and God but were afraid to ask?

The Worship Team will be hosting four “Lunch and Learns” throughout the coming year.  These will be opportunities to gather in fellowship, but they are primarily intended for us to gather and ask questions about the Bible.  These will be a time of sharing our thoughts and learning more about God’s holy Word.  These Lunch and Learns are currently scheduled for the fifth Sunday of March, May, August, and November.  We hope you will join us in this time of Biblical exploration.

  • After Words

We’re bringing back the “After Words” inserts.  These are opportunities to generate conversation and thought about the Sunday morning message to get you talking with family and friends following the church service.  “After Words” is a presentation of questions and ideas to stimulate conversation and a deeper understanding of the message.  We hope you will give it a try.

  • Kids Club!

Come and make crafts, make music, make our community a better place and most important -- MAKE FRIENDS!

All kids in Preschool - Sixth Grade are welcome!

We start on September 18 at 6:30 PM!

This program is FREE to all kids who would like to participate.

You can register online at vbspro.events/p/aumckidsclub

  • Hygiene Kits

    • One washcloth.

    • One fingernail or toenail clipper removed from package.
    • One bath size bar of soap in original package.
